About Dr. Prashant kumar shrivastava
Dr.prashant kumar shrivastava passed m.sc. Geology with first position in merit from pt ravishankar shukla university, raipur in 1989. He passed m.phil geology with first position in merit from pt ravishankar shukla university, raipur in 1990.he was awarded ph.d. In 1999 from pt ravishankar shukla university, raipur . He is a recepient of young scientist award in 1995. He is also recepient of commonwealth academic staff fellowship in 2008. Dr.shrivastava received ugc post doctorate research award in 2009. He was selected for us-india fulbright visiting lecturer fellowship in 2009. Under the tenure of this fellowship visited usa for four months. Presented his invited talk in 12 american universities including purdue university, university of san fransisco, university of illnois, chicago, texas university, university of portland, indiana university, etc. He authored two books focussed on environment conservation. He has published more than35 research papers in national and international research journals. He received rajeev gandhi excellence award in 2013.he is a expert member of various organizations like, mppsc, cgpsc etc.dr.shrivastava is a member of editorial board of two international research journals. He has completed two major and three minor research projects. At present he is working as a assistant professor in govt.v.y.t.pg autonomous college, durg, chhattisgarh.
