About Mahima Yadav

I Chose to seek Chemical Engineering due to my long time interest in the realm of Energy, Manufacturing and Process. Throughout the course of time, my studies in university molded this interest into admiration and zeal for handling industrial problems with innovative solutions. My predilection is towards Process Engineering and Simulation, Renewables and Waste Management. I am a highly adaptable person with an excellent ability to work with diverse teams and communicate effectively. Ive been active as a member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) during my college years which involved organising seminars with lecturers from IITs and experienced reputed Industry professionals. The committee also organised a number of competitions and also attended presentations at IIT Delhi. I've participated in a number of seminars such as Petroleum Refinery and Polymer Engineering Design by AMU, Industrial Automation by Cetpa Infotech, Startup Conclave by Ecell of Galgotias University, Chemsys 2019, National Symposium on Next Generation Science and Technology. Often, I participated in the quizzes and poster competitions as well. I engaged in conferences and technical fests as well at different universities through graduation years like IIT Bombay and Sharda University where I presented poster on one of my researches and also won Best Poster Award for the same. At IIT Bombay, I attended workshops of Aspen Plus and DWSIM. Also, Been a part of two successful internships at IOCL Bottling Plant and Bharat Oman Refinery Limited where I collaborated with Safety Department and Production Department respectively and learned a lot about the industry. After meeting with some of the most inspiring people at these workplaces, I got inspired to work for my goal overcoming all the obstacles coming my way. I also worked in Qima, an on-site supplier audit programs, product inspections and laboratory tests company during my last semester of graduation. It was an eye-opening and exhilarating experience. I reviewed Testings, Audits, Inspection reports in accordance to the appropriate product standards, drafted and established certificates of conformity. As I’ve successfully completed my graduation, I hope to fulfill my dream of Master’s from a reputed institution in the near future and widen my horizon of knowledge.
